Install and first run

HelloHQ runs on your device. You can use it without an account, and the local workspace is encrypted before it touches the disk.

Download

Section titled “Download”

Use the build for your platform from the download page. Do not use a build from a third-party mirror.

First run

Section titled “First run”
  1. Open HelloHQ.
  2. Choose Create a local workspace.
  3. Set a master password you can remember. It derives the database key and is never sent to HelloHQ.
  4. Save the Emergency Kit somewhere safe and offline.

What you can do without an account

  • Track your portfolio, debts and net worth.
  • Use local AI with a model on your device.
  • Sync through iCloud or Dropbox.
  • Read every free guide in this Guide.

When you are ready, sign in or create an account to use HelloHQ Sync, collaboration and the paid tools.
